Thank you so much for your interest in producing a show at the Allways… Here are a few things to get started and be in the know :
This is a 21+ venue please put this on your advertisements.
You keep all of the Door/presale ticket money minus $100 for a tech person
You will need to provide a door person that collects admission, checks IDs and has a responsible vendors certification… This can be obtained here for $14.99 or we have a list of people that you can choose from for $50
Please find out who your tech person is before the day of the show and you can email them your set list and any notes
When posting on social media, you can tag us on Instagram at Allways_Cabaret_club and if you ask us to be an admin on the post it will put it on our page and I can share the stories
Once booked, please send us a ticket link picture, and description of your show for the website.

The Allways Lounge and Cabaret House Rules
Thank you for choosing The Allways Lounge and Cabaret. By agreeing to producing an event here, you agree to follow this code of conduct. This protocol outlines general space accountability, prop storage, regulations and safety, and fees or booking holds that may result from failure to maintain this beloved and special space. Please note that producers will be the ones held accountable so be sure to also distribute this code of conduct to your performers and staff. Thank you and have a great show!
Finally, as is evident in our name, the ALLways Lounge, we do adhere to a public respect policy: We accept & celebrate all bodies, genders, & sexual orientations, and require the same from ALL our patrons or they will have to bounce. #BeNiceOrLeave
Thank you for being here and have a wonderful show!

- Door and Staff Policy
- All Door people MUST be from the approved door list and have a Responsible Vendor Card. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- All patrons coming in MUST have a valid ID. This includes anyone saying they are just “dropping something off” or “meeting a friend.” No one should be allowed unaccompanied into the Twilight.
- If there are two shows running concurrently, front door people should make sure to distinguish which show a patron is attending.
- If using Twilight lobby doors, they need to be shut and barred after show begins.
- Twilight should be vacated and locked up within 45 minutes of the end of show (this applies to the last show of the night)
- Prop and Set Storage
- The shelves and storage areas are assigned for specific use. Please only use your assigned space to store your items.
- DO NOT use costume pieces or items that are not yours, unless they are specifically marked for “open use.”
- All non-permanent items MUST be removed within 3 days of the end of the show run.
- Small items not removed will be placed in Lost and Found, which is labeled and located in the Beer Room/Dressing Room.
- Lost and Found items will be removed at the end of every month.
- Although we will do our best to reconnect you with your items, misplaced and unclaimed items will be subject to removal, including large items.
- Infrequent/guest/specific/touring shows will have use of the “Guest” space in the shelves. This will be labeled.
- If you would like to store a prop or large set piece or need specific accommodations, please submit your request by emailing [email protected]
- House/Stage Arrangement and Setup
- The Lounge and The Twilight Room house and backstage have a standard arrangement/set-up. All shows should be sure to:
- reset all seating, set pieces, tables, and any other items used back to their original location.
- If there are any questions on the standard set up, refer to the guidebook which is located in all dressing rooms and can be obtained by emailing [email protected]

- For Twilight Room shows, please remove cocktail glasses from house and return them to the bar.
- Return all merch tables or anything else used to their proper locations.
- If using large glitter/rose petals etc., it MUST be swept up prior to leaving.
- If in doubt, clean it up!
- Backstage and Cleanliness
- In each backstage dressing room, there will be a clearly marked area where cleaning wipes, trash bags, brooms and other items will be located for your use.
- All trash in house and backstage must be cleaned before leaving for the night. This includes tape backing, plastic cups, and any other small trash pieces.
- Wipe makeup tables and mirrors down.
- All cocktail glasses and buckets being used backstage should be returned to the bar.
- Return all your set pieces, props and costumes to their designated storage location.
- Return all “open use” items to their designated storage location.
- If any dressing room bathroom or backstage trash is full, remove the bag, and replace with a fresh bag. Alert a bartender to have the bag removed from backstage, or if you are able, please place the bag in the trash cans outside on the Marigny side of the Allways.
- If in doubt, clean it up!
- Forgot something? There is a set of supply drawers under the makeup tables backstage in the Twilight Room. Please feel free to use any of the items, and consider leaving a dollar or two to help keep the supplies replenished.
- Friends and Family are NOT invited into dressing room spaces. Only performers involved in the scheduled show should be in the dressing rooms at any time unless otherwise discussed with the producer and cast.
- Stage Cleanliness
- If using any kind of projectible i.e., rose petals/large glitter etc., it MUST be swept up prior to leaving. It must also be contained to an area that can be easily cleaned.
- ABSOLUTELY NO glitter/confetti bombs, fine glitter or silly string allowed. Ever.
- If you are doing ANY kind of messy act (lube/water/etc.) you must provide your own tarp/container, and you must clean up any mess before leaving the venue.
- If doing ANY kind of liquid/messy act, Projector screen CAN NOT be used at the same time.
- The stage needs to be swept before or after each show (depending on timing with any following shows and how messy things were in the previous show). Brooms and cleaning supplies live near the back door of the Twilight dressing room, and/or on the courtyard of the Allways.
- If in doubt, clean it up!
- Flyering and Promotion
- Producers are responsible for the promotion of their respective shows. We highly encourage you to create some kind of event invite, ticket link, or other web-based link to send out to the public (for public events). If making a ticket link, please send to the Allways at [email protected]. You are also welcome and encouraged to drop off any handbills to display.
- If hanging flyers at The Allways, please use small pushpins. ABSOLUTELY NO tape or putty should be used on the walls, as it can damage them. We encourage you to bring pins of your own, but if you ask a bartender, there should be pins available behind the bar.
- Fees
- We want to keep the Allways in good working condition for all that use it. Failure to comply with this code will result in a $75 fine.
- If there is a code violation, you will be notified by email which will include details about the report and instructions for payment.
- Producers who are fined will have 5 days to comply, or be subject to losing their future booking date(s) or in extreme cases, lose access to produce in the venue.
- Tips to Avoid and Report Violations
- We encourage taking photos of the space if you arrive to a messy or disorganized space.
- Prior to the start of your show, alert a bartender to observe the space and email photos to [email protected] by noon the following day and include your show time and date in the email so we can properly identify those in violation. If you do not send pictures, you may be held responsible!
- We understand that double and triple booking in a night can make things feel a little chaotic. Please have a plan in place and communicate with the producer of the next show regarding space arrangement or cleanliness before leaving.
- With good communication and a plan, things should go much more smoothly!
- We encourage taking photos of the space if you arrive to a messy or disorganized space.
- Entering and Exiting the Space
- In general, shows have a minimum of one hour between them. Producers should do their best to be out of the space within 30 minutes of the ending of their show to allow the next show ample time to set up. As always, communication will allow for smooth transitions.
Finally, as is evident in our name, the ALLways Lounge, we do adhere to a public respect policy: We accept & celebrate all bodies, genders, & sexual orientations, and require the same from ALL our patrons or they will have to bounce. #BeNiceOrLeave
